SLV DRAMA & THEATER PRODUCTIONS
The SLV Drama Boosters support the continuing success of the SLV High School Drama Program by promoting the program and volunteering to staff productions and events. We are mostly the parents of students enrolled in the SLV High School drama course, including Charter students, who have a desire to help this great program and are welcome to join us.

“Embraceable You” at KBCZ in Boulder Creek earlier tonight. You don’t hear the piano in this video (except the sound of the keys being played), but Miranda, Quinn and Nicki could hear it through their headphones. There is a cute part after about 2:05 (wait for it…). The recordings and interview they did will be used for a radio spot that will start to air (90.1 FM and kbcz.org) next week. A big Thank You to Paul Nanna at KBCZ!

“The Jungle Book: Welcome to the Jungle,
An Original Rock Musical”
Written by Janinne Chadwick.
For almost 40 years, Little People’s Repertory Theatre has provided a unique, low-cost high quality summer musical theatre program for children 8-14. LPRT is the most affordable children's theater program in Santa Cruz County.
Since 1998, LPRT has offered children the unique opportunity to do “non-traditional” theater. We present an original rock musical tailor written for a cast of 70 children. We take a traditional fairytale or folktale and rewrite it with a contemporary twist. We parody classic rock and pop songs and performers. Every child sings, dances and has a spoken part. In addition to serving 8-14 year-olds, LPRT also serves young children and teens through our Junior Players Program and our Teen Mentorship Program.
Mountain Community Theater (MCT) is Santa Cruz County’s longest continuously running community theater company. MCT is a member-run non-profit organization that derives its support primarily from performance proceeds and charitable donations. The company, formed in 1982 by a collective of actors, puts on live theatrical performances featuring and tailored to people living in the San Lorenzo Valley, Santa Cruz County, and beyond.
