Fort Ord is offering Fort Ord army/calvary alumni scholarships to students who attend Cal State University, Monterey Bay! Hundreds of veterans and civilians have lived, trained and worked at Fort Ord since its founding in 1917. From Calvary units who trained at Camp Gigling during the 1930's through the recruits who completed  their basic training during the mid-part of the century up to the light fighter division of the 1980's and 1990's.

Ask your grandparents if they were ever stationed at Fort Ord. It is worth a $1,000.00 scholarship.
